Rudraksha is a seed of the tree Elaeocarpus ganitrus roxb and often used as a prayer bead in Hinduism, they are primarily sourced from India, Indonesia and Nepal for jewellery. 

 

The seeds are associated with the Hindu Lord Shiva and is thought to have many benefits for the person wearing them, such as protection from negative energies. The seed is also meant to provide stability by creating a protective covering all around you.
